Copenhagen Raceourse is situated a few miles north of Copenhagen in the seaside town of Klampenborg. It is the only racecourse in Denmark which is devoted to Thoroughbred Racing and is the oldest surviving in Scandinavia. The Derby is held there on the last day in June each year.
