Arqana holds 10 thoroughbred auctions a year, headed by the world famous Deauville August Yearling Sale, which has gone from strength to strength since the company was set up in 2006 as the result of a merger between Agence Francaise and Goffs France. In addition to this flagship event, the Deauville sales complex plays host to two more yearling sessions, in October and December, as well as a Breeding Stock Sale in December and a Mixed Sale in February. The company also operates from its Saint-Cloud base, where five sales dedicated to ready-to-run juveniles and horses in training take place each year.
