1992 - racecourse commentator (including the Epsom Derby five times, eleven St Legers, over 10 years at the Cheltenham Festival & two Grand Nationals); regular guest track announcer in America (called at eight tracks including Belmont, Calder, Gulfstream, Monmouth, Santa Anita & Suffolk Downs); October 2005 became the first ever non-North American-based announcer and first British commentator to be included on the 'All-Star Announcers Day' team during Breeders' Cup weekend at Belmont Park; regular Point-to-Point commentator (various tracks/areas), racecourse commentator in both Jersey & Guernsey; presenter for both RacingUK & Racing World; TV voiceovers & DVD Horseracing Games

Owned five winners - Raglan Road won three chases (including when owner was commentating at Market Rasen) and Friendly Knight won a chase and an all weather falt handicap. Formerly (when married) an assistant trainer in Newmarket.

Joint editor of The Arabian Racing Review. Formerly Arab Racing correspondent of both the Racing Post and Horse and Hound. 1989-1992 assistant editor of The Competition/Amateur Rider. 1986-1990 racing correspondent for Lincolnshire Standard Group Newspapers.
