The Jockey Club of Canada was founded in 1973 and has always aimed to promote good quality racing throughout Canada. Promoting improvements in breeding, raising and racing of thoroughbred horses throughout Canada and to maintain records of pedigrees of thoroughbred horses and other desirable records.
